Payment

After you submit your order, the bot gives you instructions on how to pay. This page covers what to expect and how payment confirmation works.

Before You Start

  • You must have a submitted order (see Placing an Order).
  • You need access to the payment method you selected during checkout.

How Payment Works

Ledgerline supports several payment methods. Some are automated (the system detects your payment), and some are manual (a store admin confirms receipt).

Automated Methods

For methods like PayPal and Cash App Pay, the bot provides a payment link or QR code. Once the payment provider notifies Ledgerline, your order status updates automatically.

Manual / Peer-to-Peer Methods

For P2P methods like Venmo, Zelle, Chime, or Cash App (P2P), the process is:

  1. The bot gives you the store's payment handle or address.
  2. You send the payment through that app.
  3. A store admin verifies the payment and confirms it in the system.

Bitcoin

For BTC Invoice, you receive a Bitcoin address and the amount to send. For BTC Manual, the store admin confirms receipt after you send the payment and notify them.

For Bitcoin via NOWPayments, the checkout bot posts an embed directly in the channel after you submit your order. The embed shows:

  • The BTC deposit address (copy it carefully — it is shown in a code block)
  • The exact BTC amount to send
  • How many minutes you have before the invoice expires
  • A Pay with Bitcoin button that opens the NOWPayments hosted page (where you can also scan a QR code)

Your payment confirms automatically once the blockchain transaction is detected. You do not need to notify anyone or wait for admin approval.

Payment Confirmation

Once your payment is verified — either automatically or by a store admin — you will receive a notification from the bot confirming that your order is paid and moving to fulfillment.

A store admin can also confirm payment using:

/payment-confirm orderId:ord_abc123

You do not need to run this command yourself. It is for store staff only.

What Happens Next

After payment is confirmed:

  1. Your order status changes to PAID.
  2. The store team begins preparing your order.
  3. You will be notified when your order ships (with a tracking number if available).

Tips

  • Pay promptly — Your order reserves inventory. If payment is not received in a reasonable time, the order may be cancelled and the items released.
  • Double-check the amount — Make sure you send exactly what the bot tells you, including any currency or fee considerations.
  • Keep your receipt — If there is a dispute, having your payment confirmation handy helps the store admin resolve it quickly.

Sometimes a store admin will send you a payment link by email or message. Click the link to open an invoice page in your browser. It shows your order summary and buttons to pay with the store's supported online payment methods. The link has an expiry date — complete payment before it expires.
